Record amounts of rain have been falling for days. That’s saying a lot for a region that routinely gets more rain in one month than my hometown of Billings, Montana gets all year. What I find funny is that it hardly seems “record.” It seems exactly like last year and the year before. If anything, it feels a little lighter than usual.
Either way, the trails are off-limits for the foreseeable future. The joys of practicing new, interesting camera techniques are on hold for the moment, replaced by the joys of dreaming up new ways to translate the thrill of mountain biking into cinematic elegance. I’ll also spend some time posting vignettes of some of my earlier travels (inspired by Aunt Boomie. Check her out.)
Enjoy!
